OCTOBER WANTS !

Hello, dudes et dudettes!

I'm here with another monthly WANTS!
Time has seriously flown by since the September one, it literally feels like just last week I made that post. (You're probably wondering if I got any other my September wants?... Well, I'm still working on that! But I'm definitely getting those Chelsea Boots!) I was looking through my posts and realised it's time for another monthly favourites!

So here we go :)

I've been looking at Badlands and I've seriously been loving their stuff, HOWEVER, it's quite expensive, especially the leather jackets. I've been wanting a leather jacket for a VERY long time, however the biker oversized ones are MORE expensive. But I know that I will get one of their leather jackets.... very soon... Hopefully. But anyways here are some of their stuff that I REALLY REALLY WANT, AHA...

Wild at Heart Leather Studded Jacket, £195.00

Fully Studded Leather Jacket Biker Jacket, £395.00

Creep It Real Studded Levi Denim Jacket, £150.00

Black Leather Crop Biker Jacket, £60.00

I've been rocking A LOT of rings for a while now, but I seriously need to update my collection. So, I went on the Topshop on-line store and found a few that I'm defo considering on buying!

I used to be apart of F AS IN FRANK VINTAGE members to basically give out discount codes and get some myself. It was a nice opportunity because we got to talk to the owners and basically have debates about true vintage clothing. I also made quite cool friends in our Facebook Private Group page. However, the whole thing got carried away and people were taking advantage of their discounts codes and therefore no more private group page. Nevertheless  I will always be a fan and support them. It's been over 2 years since I've been staring at this hat. I want it. I'm gonna get it. Unfortunately  everytime I want to get it... IT'S ALWAYS SOLD OUT! Bummer, huh?

Even though there are not really great for Winter, it's still a want and I have a small opportunity to wear it at the moment while it's still quite an okay weather, let's hope it doesn't get extremely cold before they restock it!

However, we are merging into Winter more and more these days in London, and most other countries. What I love about winter, is the opportunity to wear oversized chuncky jumpers! The best ones I want is one from Topshop but significantly, Rokit, have AMAZING jumpers!

Here's the one from Topshop;

Knitted Mirror Eagle Jumper, £55.00

And here are some I like that are from Rokit;

Blue, Burgundy & Cream Diamond Print Jumper, £35.00

Cream, Tan, Navy & Green Aztec Patterned Jumper, £50.00

Brown Chunky Cardigan, £35.00

Argyle Patterned Jumper, £35.00

Here comes more Chunky Jumper/Sweats Mania from Asos...

ASOS Oversize Jumper with Fluffy Panel, £45.00

ASOS Sweatshirt with Multi Colour Panel, £38.00

ASOS Sweatshirt in Bronze Foil, £28.00

ASOS Boyfriend Sweatshirt in Quilted Fabric, £30.00

ASOS Sweatshirt with Panel and Strip Rib, £35.00

ASOS Revive Top with Diamond Quilting, £45.00

I think I'm done with my chunky jumper mania, aha. So now here are other things that I want from this october!

I usually go for tan brown or black everyday bags, but since it's winter, maybe it's time for some colour?
Here are some colour bags, I think I could get away with this winter! Major Wants!

L 'Epicier Leather Bag. £80.00

Tote Bag, Mui Mui, £870.00

I'm sure you're thinking, what a big MONTHLY WANTS! Lemme tell you, there are MUCH MUCH more, but I will put that for the November one! Obviously, items that are over £100 are quite unrealistic but they're still a WANT! However, once I FINALLY get a job, it won't be so much of want... well maybe the Mui Mui bag will still be a want, haha.

Anyways, write you guys this Saturday with a nice Saturday Sounds!

I'm going to make this post short and sweet with Princess Chelsea and Purity Ring. I've been listening to Purity Ring much much longer than Princess Chelsea but unfortunately they deleted their soundcloud that only had 4 songs. To be honest they don't have much songs, but that's what makes them more interesting and exciting. We've been brought up to learn that stereotypically you need loads of songs to be succesful, but don't those just die quicker? You can obviously tell that they are here to stay and I don't blame them. Although, I really do hope they make more music very soon.

Here are a few songs that I've been mentally making love with by Purity Ring:

I just found out (via their website) literally today that they're coming down to London (FINALLY) on 20th November but it's SOLD OUT!!! Can't believe this! I've literally been waiting for aaaaaaaaggggess for this day to come. This always happens to me, like seriously. Why didn't I get the memo? I'm determined to find another way besides "ticketweb.com".

Princess Chelsea is strangely impacting and intoxicating, however in a wonderful way. Princess Chelsea (Chelsea Nikkel from Auckland, New Zealand) and with the help of her friends, make incredible music/music videos that leaves you drifting in mid air.

Makes you think that their music is indeed drugs...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was; magic mushrooms perhaps?

Take a listen for yourself:

Overall, I'm glad I found out about Princess Chelsea, but even more so Purity Ring, because they are definitely artists that I can zone to. However, I am crying at the fact that I can't see Purity Ring! There should be another way. I'm definitely going to call Scala London. I can't miss this event! Wish me luck, aha.

Till next time,

ASOS: OXBLOOD

So, I randomly went on ASOS today to just check on the new stuff and see what's new PLUS the sale! OXBLOOD caught my eye surprisingly. I click on it to see it was categorised on clothes of this colour.

Oxblood is dark-brownish-red colour. It's a colour that seems to be quite popular nowadays, well it's been popular for quite a while now, along the colours of navy and tan brown. I guess it's because it's very classic and simple at the same time. It's quite a nice casual colour and can go nicely with both gold and silver accessories. I like this colour, I have a cardigan from H&M in this colour. However, I find it quite hard to find more clothes in this colour for some reason. On ASOS, I found a few, but not a lot.

Here they are:

The Wet Look Shirt (£38.00)

However, close up it looks quite cheap. So, now I'm not sure about it, especially considering the price for something that lhas those kind of buttons, but the concept is still cool.

The Chelsea Girl Fluffy Jumper (£28.00)

The Super Soft Cropped Jacket (£55.00)

Will Oxblood continue to stay popular or is it just a trend?
For now, I'm not sure. But if retail shops use this colour less, I wouldn't be surprised, not only because it's a colour that is more suitable for winter, but because it's not a very exciting/eccentric colour. However, it always adds more of a classic touch to any outfit. Plus, I think it's a colour that is a must for your wardrobe.

Till next time,

First, we're going to talk about ALPINE. I have been listening to them for a long time. I was supposed to talk about them a long time ago, but its never too late so here we go! They are from Melbourne, Australia. I love that they bring such a cool indie rock sound, but yet it's so 90's retro at the same time. It's not the usual indie we get nowadays! Maybe, because they're located in Australia they are extremely underrated in the UK and US, however they deserve the whole attention.
One of my favourite songs by them is "Hands"; take a listen:

Second artist that is up is ODDISEE (Birth name: Amir Mohammed el Khalifa). He's a MC-producer from Washington, but raised in Prince George's Country, Maryland. I was playing my Toro y Moi playlist, and he was in the suggestions, I coincidently fell on him and I have to admit, I will never regret it!! He has such depth, meaning, truth and rawness that most rappers lack. His music is so soulful, filled with funk and enriched with true hip hop with always that sprinkle of political views. He's an amazing rapper and extremely underrated. I'm so glad I accidentally fell on his music.

One of my favourite songs "Let it Go";

[My other Favourite songs: Set You Free, American Greed, Ready to rock]

Check his Music Video; Paralyzed
